Somewhere on the web, or maybe even on this forum, I saw a picture of a boat with the oars stored outside the boat on each side. I'm interested in doing this and looking for ideas on how to get it done.

I mounted a rear anchor system. Installed Quick Fists to hold extra rods against the gunwale so they're out of the way when my buddy is onboard.

The plate comes with the Hobie kayak. The plate has a couple of extensions designed to accomodate Lowrance fish finder transducers, but it's very easy to adapt it to a Garmin Striker 4 transducer.@krusty does the plate you mentioned protecting the transducer on the hull bottom come with the transducer or did you buy it separately?
