What are you playing?

I have been practicing my landings in the F15-E and I have gotten really smooth on the touch down. I went to you tube to look at the real thing and was shocked at how harsh some of the landings are. Pfft yay me!

One of the least relaxing, most frustrating, rage-inducing activities I have ever tried to force into my life is tying flies. Shows how very differently we're all wired 😂
That's because you may be trying to tie flies as a realist. I tie mine as an impressionist, or even a folk artist, which means I need practically no talent at all. Fish attack my flies out of sympathy, or insult and disgust.... I'm not sure which, but I'll take it.

Cribbage is a great game. It seems to be a fifty fifty split between most of my friends that have been playing it for the last forty years. You get the occasional drunk games during camping that happen, people miscount points or make mistakes, but for the most part, it's a split.

Has nothing to do with talent. The very act of tedious arts and crafts sends me into a rage. I've literally thrown vices and broken things in my house as a result. Few things in my life have ever sent me over the edge like it has.

This past evening was my groups weekly "Stooge" meet up where we played Battlefield 6! I play with an old co worker who has become a dear friend and my daughters. We have been at it for 4 years now i would estimate. As intended, I am able to stay close to my 25 year old daughter through video game connection. They dont see it but through my perspective, I am encouraging my family to stay close and bond.
If you heard my 2 girls verbally abusing me the way they do when we are gaming, you would feel bad for ole DO! They yell at me! They don't follow orders for shit! LOL

Poople is a game where you are served up a four-letter word and the challenge is to change that word, one letter at a time, to new words eventually leading to “POOP.” Learning the words in the “dictionary” they use is definitely a part of it.
CARP comes into play with some regularity. It did today. CAPR, not so much. 😁

On the previous forum there used to be a frequent poster (Swimmy). Don’t know him personally, but for the love of all that is holy that dude seemed to really get into holiday crafts. I vaguely recall a holiday wreath thread that in absolutely no way made me want to make one myself, but made me appreciate the single mindedness.

I’d rather jump on a bike with the seat missing than spend hours working on a fidgety holiday wreath. Nope.
