In north central Michigan today and yesterday. Put quite a few hawgz to hand. These weren't even the biggest. Didn't get photos of a lot of the beefiest ones.

Yeah that sounds like it doesnt suck. I got out today in town. Water temps were 61 but all I had to show for it was two dorsal fin snagged (juvenile) sturgeon. Trying a different spot in the morning.

Couple of oddballs from the other day. That's not the net, its rear end was deformed in addition to the exposed gill area. The second had a face only a mother could love.

I’ve never fished for largies in eastern Washington. Do the lakes you fish develop a weedline?

Hit a lake with @Kfish this morning. No luck with the intended target but the smallie bite was solid. A couple nice ones and some of their smaller brethren. Not bad for a consolation prize…

Thank you for this. I was feeling left out not having a Jersey and not having rigged up all 20+ fly rods in my collection for our session yesterday morning. If we had entered, think we would have placed and maybe even won had we both landed the two bigger fish we lost AND you had a BAACC in your fly box.
