20 1/2” Caught end of September 2021, my biggest since I got a similar bass this size on top water in May 2010. Caught 30-40 feet deep, not fly gear. I can’t fish that deep on fly gear and all the Big Betty’s are deep that time of year.

Thanks. I do as well.
I think we can thank the local bucket biologist for that specimen. That lake had bass, but never smallies until not that long ago. Same goes for another nearby lake I fish.
