Its 16202 NE 40th St, Redmond, WA. We usually park along 162nd about a half a block off of 40th.

What length is your Victory?

I still plan on making it to the fling, still trying to get my next run of Spey rods built but the hot spell put me behind. Look forward to meeting up with everyone and having fun with all the different flavor of rods that will be there.

Due to a last-minute change with a family coming to visit I am going to have to miss this year's Bamboo Fling. Have a good time, hope to make it next year.

If someone has a 406 brand WF6 or 7 or a DT 6 or 7 could you bring it to the fling so I could try it out on a rod I made? TIA. (y)

Mike, you'll like it, a lot. Those 406 lines make all my bamboo rods perform well while other lines seem to match up with some rods and not others. But it will be interesting to see what you think.

Looks like a fun afternoon. I’ve recently started eyeing bamboo rods and been reading up on them. I’ve been into vintage reels for a while now and was thinking the other day that the old Hardy Marquis I was using would look pretty sweet on a bamboo rod. I should’ve gone to your get together!

Dennis Worley talks bamboo spey...I learned that the Bridge Wintertide pairs nicely with my 12' Sharpes spey rod.
