There’s a definite theme developing in this thread as of late. It’s as if millions of 4-8 lb hard fighting fishies who love to eat pink stripped flies were headed our way this summer.

Last week of August. Our trip for week three was canceled - last minute miracle and plans have changed. Our guide and friend was leaving on the flight we are coming in on, he managed to get another week off from his paramedic job to guide us!

They also changed the feel and texture of flat diamond braid. It used to very soft and supple, now it is thinner width wise and stiff. Not a fan of the new stuff, so Bill’s Bodi Braid will be my go to moving forward.

I was at Avid and they now have big spools of Bill’s Bodi Braid, which eliminated the material fold issue you get with the smaller packs on the cardboard card.
