I do a crappy job of keeping track of hooks and tend to just separate into little Plano bins and then grab whatever I'm feeling, I think these might be SS 15 or SC 15 size 6?
Tail: marabou olive over white
Lateral: couple strands crystal flash
Rear body: small palmer chenille/pearl
Front body: " " /olive
Head: small black bead chain, coat with UV to shape.
I've been fishing them for SRC off the beach and in that context have had more success with the black over white and fish head skull in place of the bead chain, rezzies will eat them as well.

Re: impressionist vs realism. My son got me this for father's day. Had good luck with that pine squirrel craw the other day, should probably give these a try. Hook sure looks big, also it's upside down I think. Figured I'd like the brown best so started with the olive for practice.

Cut it down and tried again. Added some pearl ice dub under a thinned chenille, added black flash antenna. Still think that hook looks big (~sz. 1).

Ok, I think this pic is the right side up version ? Don't look at the hook size as a detractor. Think of it as built in dink repellent, unless you like catching lots of smaller fish.
But, Just remember, we'll always be surprised at the size of things fish will jam into their mouths . As Clarkman said, next week you'll be showing off something you caught on it.
Thanks for the feedback guys, streamers and bigger stuff is not really what I'm used to. Finished the paperwork for mom's sale today but I gotta be a parent for two days before I can fish. Not sure of trout near home with this heat, maybe I'll go play in the stinky mud and see if something with a bronze back and spines will eat it.
