What Are You Eating?

I love doing Brussel sprouts on the grill and then putting some balsamic vinegar on them after they're cooked! Delicious!

I like to roast Brussels sprouts. Toss a bag of dry Lipton onion soup in a gallon freezer bag and add olive oil. Throw in halved sprouts and shake them so they are well coated. Lay out on parchment and roast. This works well with petite or sweet potatoes as well. Simple, easy and tastes great.

Roast with some olive oil, sea salt, and parmesan for me...They're best after a few freezes when home grown. That was tough to come by this year.

My ultimate favorite way: Render some pepper bacon lardons until crisp, then remove. toss halved brussel sprouts and julienned sweet onion in the bacon fat, place cut side down on a parchment lined baking sheet with onions and loose sprout leaves around. Roast at 450 until browned but still somewhat firm. Toss with a little apple cider vinegar and the lardons.

I almost do them the exact same way…pancetta or bacon lardons rendered in a cast iron skillet, then removed. Brussels sprouts halved, places cut side down and cooked till charred. Turn every sprout over, place in a preheated 400 oven, when cooked removed, add bacon back in and a splash of vinegar (or pureed kimchi)

Some fried wontons! Had some sushi 🍣 from QFC which is decent if you get stuff made on the day you eat it! Mine was spicy tuna crunch roll!
