What Are You Eating?

The search for burger greatness continues, and this is a contender fo' sho'...it will NEVER take the place of a burger from Old Pal Texas Tavern in Lockhart, but it's one of the best I've had in the PNW.

Special B's from New Burbs Burger in the 93x. Pretty damn bitchin' smash patty with good crispy edges nestled up in a soft-ass potato bun with good pickles, griddled onions, and good special sauce.
The fries are Burbs Fries, and if I smoked "copious amounts of ganja" (to paraphrase Winston from Lock Stock - IYKYK), I would probably love fries with grilled onions, dill relish, cheese, and special sauce...more like mediocre and tangy poutine when yer not high. Not gonna lie, I ate em all, but I won't order them again.
Beer is a Crispy Bois Lager from Matchless. Savagely good.
Next time - and there WILL be a next time - its just gonna be the Special B's and a Crispy Bois or two.

Booked a half day out of Sayulita with Jorge at Sayulita Pescadores. We caught a bunch of small to medium dorado (gear and live bait). They made some tasty tacos when cooked up with tajin and panko. The rest will go on the grill. For future reference, Jorge also guides fly fishing trips for a variety of species out of his 27ft panga, La Tortuga II.
