I also like it velveted in Chinese stirfries like chungking or moo shu or black pepper porkBreaded and fried pork tenderloin, dipped in cilantro lime crema. Washed down with Fevertree pink grapefruit soda and tequila on ice. OMG, so good.

The fries were an interesting component for sure. We went to a dinner event a month ago where fries were served as well.I’m down for any cuisine where French fries for breakfast is acceptable. Sign me up!
What’s the larger dish in the casserole with the three square condiment bowls next to it?
Town and Country usually has a few really good sales to bring people in and spend full price on the other stuff. If you go shop the sale only, you can get some good deals. All this pork chat makes me think of the Town & Country stores. I use the Ballard one a lot as fairly nearby. Anyhoo, they sell a brand of pork, Beeler’s I think but whatever type of pig they raise, they are really good. The pork chops are marbled with fat, not just white meat and so grill or skillet fry really well. They’re not necessarily overly fatty but you do not need to brine as they stay tender and moist. And stunningly, they are really affordable, a tenderloin or a couple of boneless chops go for 4-5 bucks. They have bone in too and other cuts but I’m trying to limit meat consumption to a degree and so small portions works for us. Worth a look if there’s a store near you.

I thought he was roasting tofu with his veggies........Where's the spaghetti sauce?
Feta... And yesterday I used the brine from the feta bucket to brine some boneless skinless chicken thighs before grilling them. They were good, too!I thought he was roasting tofu with his veggies........
Did you put the kraut and dressing in there? Only demerits if you left those out.I’ll likely get some demerits for this, but what the hell. After getting up at 2:30 to go fishing, making a gourmet dinner wasn’t on the list of things to do tonight. I had everything to make a Rueben except bread, enter the Rueben Quesadilla.
It was actually quite good and filled the need for something quick. It kind of reminded me of something I’d make when I was really stoned back in my college days.
Please pardon the fine china.
