Yup. Not a super common accessory, but useful. I had a different one as a kid, while commercial fishing, but it broke. I probably pushed it beyond it's capabilities.I'm assuming that shackle key is for tightening or loosening of shackles? That seems useful on a sailboat.
These are all sweet knives. That Cattaraugus is very special. I don't know if you know anything about them, but they have a cult following that rivals if not succeeds Case-XX collectors. The fact that it has MOP scales is icing on the cake.
Thanks! I'm guessing the Cattaraugus knife is an actual pen knife, used to cut nibs in quills. Just a guess. It takes a very shape edge easily. These are all sweet knives. Nice set!Another oldie - This is a Remington pen knife from the 20s, possibly early 30s. It's not much, but since the reverse is stamped, Duofold, which is the same model of this fountain pen and pen set from Parker, and it uses the same, proprietary "Lapis" celluloid scales, I couldn't resist picking it up, regardless of the condition.

I have that, non-serrated…Spyderco remote release I got when I was in the coast guard. The built in caribiner is handy.

I think the local sales rep was pretty prolific at the time. I've seen them for a rope company in Bellingham and for the paper mill in Port Townsend.I have one like this but labeled Washington net company Blaine Washington
