I think I saw that guy's knives at the Fremont Night Market. He had some nice ones!I don't. It was a present from my kids who told me they got it from "the guy at the Edmonds Farmers Market".

This is really nice. One of the better examples that I've seen. Are you able to make out the stamp on the blade? Anton Wingen? Othello?Old WWII era Solingen boot knife. Only other one I've ever seen was owned by Jack O'Conner & was featured on an Outdoor Life magazine cover.

That Dexter takes me back to my childhood. Spent most of my teenage summers processing and fishing commercially in Alaska. That knife was the workhorse for heading salmon and cleaning Kings and bigger Chum's.The Schade Old Timer filet knife goes back to the 70's.
For serious big fish work, the Dexter scimitar blade rules.

Beautiful. I admire your patience. Some years back I was drinking too much whiskey listening to Guy Clark and figured out what I needed. Well it finally arrived.
Quite a wait time on a knife from them now.
