The original knife thread.

Late 30s, Remington R6465 pen knife with a Sheaffer's Lifetime 'Senior' Balance fountain pen. Interesting to see this celluloid scale on this knife as it was considered to be proprietary to Sheaffer and not commonly found in general.

Old WWII era Solingen boot knife. Only other one I've ever seen was owned by Jack O'Conner & was featured on an Outdoor Life magazine cover.

Thanks. I passed it along to my Son along with some other of his Grandfather's WWII memoribilia. I'll have him take better photos of both sides of the blade.

The Schade Old Timer filet knife goes back to the 70's.
For serious big fish work, the Dexter scimitar blade rules.

That Dexter takes me back to my childhood. Spent most of my teenage summers processing and fishing commercially in Alaska. That knife was the workhorse for heading salmon and cleaning Kings and bigger Chum's.

Boulder era, Western Stockman with natural bone scales. Bird point arrow head was found while I was keeled over, gasping for air and water, while quail hunting, way up in the hills of the San Carlos reservation in Arizona, many years ago. Back then, we didn't know that we were not to take such things.
