Yup….a walk off in the bottom ninth would have been prolific and my sleep patterns would be stable.
Going to be interesting how the length and celebratory ending plays out at the outset of the next series.
Finally hit the wall last night after 14 innings of stress. Sure was fun seeing the headlines this morning and then reading every account of the game I could find. I expect soon there will be 100,000 people talking about being there to personally witness that victory in a stadium that holds only 47,900.
Didn't care for all those base runners stranded in extra innings either, but sometimes that's just baseball. The rotation and bullpen are taxed, but the rules for managing pitchers go out the window in October -- sure hope Dr. Woo is available tomorrow. Now it's time to make Cal Raleigh's prediction come true "Let's go win this whole f**king thing"
