I agree! How about mid to late June? Two down, I say nix on June 4th. Let's find a better date.
We can always plan on two events.. one in June and maybe one in the Fall.. I'm down with that.. June 11th or 12th works for me.. the 12th better since I have Sunday's and Monday's off.. but I'll take the day off if its a Saturday! I'm planning trips, but later in June or July and working out the details..FWIW, the rest of June is not possible for me. I seem to have booked up most of my weekends through early July.
Why not sunday June 12 with a start time of noon or 1pm? That would allow those of us who go to church to get there and then head to the cast around. We can always plan on two events.. one in June and maybe one in the Fall.. I'm down with that.. I'm down! Sundays work for my current schedule! I can take the lead on this if necessary... any yeahs or nays? We could do Lake Tye in Monroe if we want water and some fish but the park in Redmond is fine. Why not sunday June 12 with a start time of noon or 1pm? Works for me. I'll be bringing my Sharpes 8'3", 8'5" and 8'8" staggered ferrule fly rods.I have been very busy with things other than bamboo fly rods, damn it anyway. Well, I am making a command decision. The bamboo Fling is on for June 12th a Sunday, start time is 11AM and the location is Cascade View Neighborhood Park in Redmond the same as last year. I would like to see someone that builds bamboo rods bring their tools and maybe do a little demo. I know we can't build a rod in one day, but it would be nice if we could see the tools and how they are used. Hope to see you all then.
