Forecast is for a display roughly on par with what we had on 5/10 this year. Anyone seeing anything yet?

Yes and no.Could anybody actually see them with the naked eye??? Tried last time and saw nothing and everyone said you had to use your phone..
For the people who posted the pics, is that how they looked in person ?
We traded; I got sick and crashed the heck out last night, but I stayed up late 2 nights in a row in May gawking at the sky, and got a real good taste of it then. Finally got to see it here in SWW. Missed the May event being sick. Effing patchy clouds and a half moon didn't help but it showed pretty well on my phone camera.

Same here last night. But I we could easily see the event earlier this summer with the naked eye. Pretty cool to see Northern Lights multiple times in one year! Before this year, I have seen them maybe 3-4 times total.Yes and no.
With the naked eye, I would see just a haze in the sky. Although last night I was noticing a slight tinge of pink where there shouldn’t have been anything. That was my first clue.
The photo sensors in the phone camera seem to be super sensitive to colors and that why you see such vivid colors from the pictures on the phones.
