Been hitting it hard in March. We kinda let our garden go the last two years. Why? Maybe covid but that’s an excuse. Not sure, older parents to deal with, kids , newer dog that digs. Just got lazy is the truth. Not this year. Homemade spaghetti sauce, more salads, beet juice - yeah that will really motivate you huh?
So this is nothing more than an outlay, playing around and measuring a bit before a more permanent placement. We have to fence it because of our lovely golden retriever

, which adds an extra dilemma in organizing it.
I did build the zucchini box out of repurposed wood from an old pergola and some left over fencing boards.
We have a troph to add, plus I will be building two more 4x4’ lower profile raised beds. From repurposed wood again and only costing me about $35 in screws. Dang screws have really gone up in $$. Most is cedar but there is some fir so shelf life will be short.
The bay leaf trees are way to big, and we might only use a dozen leafs per year. If that. The plum tree is variety tree and kicks out some good ones.
Carrots, potatoes, zucchini ( love grilling it with garlic salt) - tomatoes, green onion, chives and other herbs, potatoes and beets, going to rotate lettuce this year because in past we get overwhelmed and so much goes to waste. Arugula, butter leaf, red leaf and a couple others,
Will post pic at end of April or early May. Should be set for most part.

I hope.
