We do our greenhouse tomatoes aound June 1st most of the time. Pepper we do outside in containers, and put in about a week earlier.I was so ready to plant last year and I think I got started too soon. Didn't have quite the growth I should have for my peppers or tomatoes, despite being in a greenhouse. Going to try to at least wait to put stuff out until after Mother's Day.
I think that's called "Montana."weather anomalies.
I think that’s part of the reason Montana is not known as an agricultural hubIt’s tough around here. Our growing season is super short. We can get freezing temps well into June. We managed to plant a fairly successful garden last year, but suffered some pretty major losses due to weather anomalies.
Curious how other peoples garlic is doing with this past winter, which is not over yet. My tops are only about 5-6” and kinda limp looking. In prior years, I never covered them or protected them.

This guy uses a lot of those style beds. He has a link in the description to a source. Also has some vids on cutting your own out of culvert. I plant in ground, so I dont know much about that style.Any recommendations for a supplier of good quality galvanized garden tubs? I need to build a vegetable garden this spring.
