It was a tough series with the A’s but the Mariners prevailed to lose 2 out of 3 and now have soul possession of last place in the AL west.

I watched far more basketball back when Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell we’re pushing and shoving each other in the key than anytime after. Basketball was ruined by over zealous rules and the three point line. It became a game of foul shots and long range shooters. Then Howard Schultz came along and lied to Seattle fans that he didn’t know Clay Bennett was going to move the Sonics to Oklahoma. Last nail in basketball’s coffin.
