Given the area I was in this is obviously from a black bear. It’s always cool to see what the locals are seasonally feeding on.
DK and I were hiking into a run on the Thompson, going through some small alders when we came across some steaming (literally) bear scat - all grasses, leaves and some berries, no bells.Not griz related but a manzanita berry pile I came across last week while mushroom hunting.

But with this here cocaine bear, it could become sort of a tourist mecca for cousin marrying and reclaim the #1 spot...
The Noah's Ark theme park might help draw cousins too, so Kentucky has a lot going for it, not to mention the chicken, which I like.
