My first thought was Rattlesnake Lake (because I’m so provincial), but I don’t see any fire history there that matches. Where is this, if you don’t mind?

Great thread @mcswny Y'all have some great pics and I love all the different ideas or angles.
I'll go the family angle.
2022 was a crazy year. Short story is my wife and I finally got to go on our 30th Anniversary trip in January. Should have been in 2022, but like I said. Crazy year.
We splurged on the nicest place we've ever stayed at and had a fantastic 10 days together in Cancun. She's pretty damn cool. She knows I need to fish at least a little bit for my soul. Well, I booked a day of mangrove fishing and caught baby tarpon and snook for the first time in my life. That was fun!

And we got to wake up to this just about every morning. It never got old.
