An interesting version of one of my all-time favorites. I've fished the Sparrow on the swing, as a damselfly nymph, and in several colors as Drake mergers. To me, your version screams tailing bonefish. Having known Jack a bit back in the day, I know he would approve.Gartside Sparrow (variation)

Whoever posted that Nordic Anglers fly tying video, thank you! These things wiggle and move a lot and mine seem to be almost neutrally buoyant. I tried one with a stinger and the rest with various saltwater āstreamerā hooks to test.
