I have always used my stripping basket for berries. Getting a mess of berries after chasing salmon down at Golden Gardens Was always a plus, I don’t use it for line anymore but it is good for figs and prunes and even tomatoes.I don't know what variety they are.
I got 8 plants from my sister in law in Tumwater.
They start getting ripe around end of August.
8 plants morphed into shitload of plants.
They look kinda psylli.View attachment 32542

Tonight’s harvest. First pepper harvest of the year. Gonna be busy making hot sauce over the next few days. Also found some strange mushrooms growing in one of my pepper pots. I think I might put them on my pizza tonight
I just want to make it clear, I did not plant these, they just came up naturally. Courtesy of my local compost company and/or some of the local ants who I believe might disperse such spores through their travels. And yes, yes they do…They look kinda psylli.
I used to make spore prints. Recalling a day out in a farmers field picking around cow patties. This was the mid 70’s the only potential legal infraction then was trespass even if the fields were not signed accordingly. The big hills breathed like lounging animals. From that I learned not to ingest as I picked. It was hard to keep track of how many.Do they have a blue ring on the stem?
