While on the Amish subject, I live in the midst of the Amish here in Lancaster County, PA.

If you’re out for a car ride, you can start out in Virginville. You”ll drive through Blue Ball, and end up being in Intercourse.

And that’s no joke. If you keep going, you’ll be in Bird in Hand and end up in Paradise.

(All in Pennsylvania of course.)

How far is it to Dumass Dumas TX from there?

That depends on what direction you take to get there.

You could go in a straight line, but it would be a lot farther if you went by Zig Zag, OR.

Considering you were just in Intercourse and Paradise, PA, the next stop might be Success, MO.

However, members on this forum would definitely want to go to Two Eggs, FL and most definitely BACON Level, AL, followed by Hot Coffee, MS.

I hope the trip wouldn’t be Normal, IL or Boring, OK, nor finish at the Bitter End (which happens to be in TN).

p.s. You ever been to Ding Dong, TX?

No. But I have been to La Grange. They got a chicken ranch there...

He was a great running back, but a really poor student.
At graduation, he didn't have enough credits.
But he was a great football star and the students held a rally and
demanded the principal give him a diploma anyway. They were so
insistent that the principal agreed that if **** could answer one
question correctly he would give him a diploma.
The one question test was held in the auditorium and all the students
packed the place.
It was standing room only.
The principal was on the stage and told him to come up.
Diploma in hand, the principal said:
"****, if you can answer this one question correctly I'll give
you your diploma , how much is three times seven?"
**** looked up at the ceiling and then down at his shoes,
pondering the question.
The other students began chanting,
"Graduate him anyway!
Graduate him anyway!"
Then **** held up his hand and the auditorium became silent.
He said, "I think I know the answer.
Three times seven is twenty-one."
A hush fell over the auditorium and then all the other students began
to chant:
"Give him another chance!
Give him another chance!"

During the pandemic I pretty much stayed at home, so didn't need to buy gas. Yesterday I went to buy gas at 7/11, gave the clerk a sawbuck and asked him to put $10 on pump #2. He asked if I was sure since that wouldn't get me very far. I asked him how far he thought it would get me? "To pump #4."
