Baseball 2025

Can the Mariners please have an 8 1/2 inning game on Friday? Please, pretty please!
Considering that the M's are the 1st team since they went to the extra innings ghost runner in 2020 to play back-to-back 12+ inning games, there's no way they could do it again...right?!? I love this team, but I wish they would make it easier on themselves...some hits with runners in scoring position would be a good start.

Need more dumpage!
Harder to get more dumpage when they choose not to pitch to him in pressure situations. I decided to retire last night when the Angels scored to go ahead in the 12th and had a runner in scoring position with 1 out and the M's bench about empty. It was a surprise to read the final score this morning. Welcome to the show Harry Ford, a great time for your first MLB RBI.

While it might not make for as much compelling tv drama I am really ready for the M's to score a number of runs early and then somehow scrape by with an 11-2 victory. These late games that are decided on the final pitch are taking a toll though it is pretty neat to wonder who the hero is going to be each night.

Somewhat prescient. Thank you. Remember you read it here first. 😉

Not a lot of Seattle fans in Kansas city tonight based off the tepid applause for Cal's last HR.
They could/should just respect the achievement IMHO.

Cal paid respect to Perez"s achievements just moments earlier. Class act!

There is little more Dumpage. Unbelievable.

Looks like Canzone is beginning to settle into his new DH spot. 5 for 5 and 3 HR. All in a days work.
