Staying true to M's (i have to) but beware the team with the hemorrhaging pitching, BP and team BA. September IS the post season for us in CLE.

M's seem to have righted the ship before falling off the face of the earth. This is shaping up to be a really exciting Sep. in the AL. I'm an M's fan first, but after that any of the current contenders less the pinstripes and that team from Houston.
 
September at its finest. Exciting, game riveting, chances presented and missed, lots of support from the latest pitchers just brought up, great defense and Mariners in 13 innings win!

An extra inning home run from an improbable source won the game for the M's but if it were not for their defense the game might well have been over by then. Josh Naylor is a master class in how to play first. He sure is fun to watch stretch and come up with those slightly off line throws and still manage to stay glued to the bag. It's looking like that trade could be the game changer for the M's.

I really hope he re-signs here. He's saying he loves it here and his stat line at T-MOBILE backs it up. Super intense guy, baseball junkie, and no fun to play against, but I LOVE watching him play for the Ms.

.. agreed, so much positives with him.
He's a backstop at first base. Combined with Crawford's range and the canons of Suarez and Williamson at the hot corner having him will shave down base hits... pitchers will love it as well as fans. I specifically think Crawford gets to balls that most shortstops can't, but isn't always able to getup/setup and make a text book throw; Naylor solves that with the way he receives the ball.
 
A win tonight and they are back in a tie for first. Go M's. And Josh Naylor is a beast. How does the slowest guy on the team steal 10 bases in 10 attempts in his first 12 game with the M's? The guy knows baseball.

I posted this ^^^^ after Wednesday's game. A walk-off homerun by Rivas.

It also applies to Thursday's (tonight's game) with one addition ---> Mariner's are now tied for first place.

Anyone know who Harry Ford is? I do not! Only two professional at-bats in the majors before tonight - with no hits yet. He hits a walk-off Sac-fly tonight!

Can the Mariners please have an 8 1/2 inning game on Friday? Please, pretty please!
