My Cardinals have been in these moments before. My Mariners in my opinion are going into new charted territory. I am praying for emotions to pour over. I want to see the benches clear. Naylor needs to be a fucking maniac. Suarez needs to be lights out at 3rd. Oh, and don't try anything fancy tonight JP, just field the ball and get the out. For Garver.........don't fuck this up! For Saucedo, stay seated! To Julio, if Hector Neris disrespects you again like last season, charge the mound and put his lights out!
Oh and Cal............................SMASH! It is the only way we are going to get a sweep!
 
IMO, the keys will be to get Hunter Brown's pitch count up so he's out by the 6th at the latest, and for Woo to hold the line and keep the M's in the game.

ha, it won't hurt if Julio hits a solo HR or two either.

Mariners are playing well in all phases of the game at the right time of the year. Each game has different players making a huge contribution. Have not seen that in long time.

Fun to watch for sure!

Just need everyone to stay healthy.

I just wish the media would focus less on Cal's record breaking year and let him be just Cal...

Most of the nation does not have a clue about the Mariners. Let's keep it that way and surprise them by sweeping the series.
 
M's now tied with the Tigers for the number two seed in the playoffs. How sweet would that be? A first round bye and home field advantage which as we know is a thing in Seattle.
 
Lots of baseball to play, even though there's only 8 games left. What a September.

My hopes and wishes and the ordering thereof are: 1) M's make the playoffs 2) That team from Houston does not make the playoffs 3) that team colloquially referred to as 'the pinstripes' does not make the playoffs.

I'd be more than happy with #1, delighted for 2 out of 3 and over-the-moon if I hit the trifecta.
