That sounds pretty great for the right person, as you say. And you got your socials and sports on at the snow hill I imagine. Because I do think that home schoolers can miss out on some of that. It’s actually a really interesting program. You’re required to do 40 hours of work a week. But that’s based off the average student. I did 60+ hours a week but it only probably took me 20ish hours. So I graduated in 3 years. I was pursuing snowboarding at the time, so this allowed me to snowboard 7 days a week.
For the right, motivated person, it’s an amazing program. For 98% of high school kids? Not so much.
Has he passed on? I kicked the dishwasher in a fit of rage after the pats game last night. The lower tray sludes out like it's a pregnant lady on a waterslide. I need some form of wizardry. My special lady friend is pissed! He preferred the term "appliance healer". He had no use for Wizards or "witchcraft" as he put it. He only went all in for the real holy ghost power. Well that snakes, and a host of other activities that I as a child felt bordered on voodoo. He was a complicated man. He scared many children. I on the other hand studied him with fascination and wonder. I mean he was crazy to be sure but a majestic beast to behold
Simple, no, it is not going to fix the weather. It's not designed to fix the weather. It's designed to punish and increase government control of human beings. Are we ever going to get back to how giving Jay Inslee our money is going to fix the weather is what?
Will I be able to buy them at Costco?and all the animals are gonna get eaten. All of them.
Yes, but it will be state run, you'll have to wit your turn which could bev6 months or more after the party officials have had their turn. Oh. And the shelves will be empty. Will I be able to buy them at Costco?
You can buy replacement trays for about 400 dollarsHas he passed on? I kicked the dishwasher in a fit of rage after the pats game last night. The lower tray sludes out like it's a pregnant lady on a waterslide. I need some form of wizardry. My special lady friend is pissed!
Only an additional $10.00/tankful? You must keep your tank topped off and only add six or so gallons to top it off? ;-) My truck's fuel tank is 32 gallons. The local gas station clicks off at $125, it has clicked off a few times before the tank was fullNow that I'm retired I don't drive as much as I used to but it's still right at an additional 10$ per tankful in my '04 GMC.
Somehow I think many of the lobbyists and all their contacts and those bought and paid for will suck up the added 50 cents a gallon and our carbon credits will fill a bunch of stock portfolios, get some hookers, a night on the town. Meanwhile our bridges and buried infrastructure will continue to degrade, our EV charging stations will go up as our power generation becomes more and more dependent upon solar/wind which as we know are super reliable all the time and have no carbon footprint. Are we ever going to get back to how giving Jay Inslee our money is going to fix the weather is what?
Costco wild game bakes - yum. Will I be able to buy them at Costco?
Worked really good this summer. Are we ever going to get back to how giving Jay Inslee our money is going to fix the weather is what?

Quick Google search brings up lots of examples of droughts taking out major empires...
Sure there was a drought. It was not a 300 year drought, and without all the wars it would not have been the end of the Egyptian empire. The last two decades were impacted by floods. Exaggerating the truth is still false.![]()
Drought Wipes Out Egyptian Empire
For those who think it's easier to annoy you than to Google 'Drought wipes out egyptian empire' themselves.letmegooglethat.com
Feel free to contact the editors of all the websites out there that are failing to report the floods and wars and are exaggerating the truth. I'm sure they'll be receptive...you got this!!Sure there was a drought. It was not a 300 year drought, and without all the wars it would not have been the end of the Egyptian empire. I'm not arguing that there were no floods or droughts or wars. I'm calling out intellectual dishonesty. Anyone can make a mistake or overlook something, but when I see the same behavior repeating itself, I'm going to say something. It hurts us all if we can't just be honest.Feel free to contact the editors of all the websites out there that are failing to report the floods and wars and are exaggerating the truth. “If an argument lasts longer than 10 minutes then both sides are wrong,” ~ Neil deGrasse TysonSoooo, has anyone changed their mind yet on any of this stuff?
Yep, got it. There's a bunch of websites that are 'intellectually dishonest' because like you said, they're not reporting the war and/or the floods, just the drought. Write 'em up and let 'em know. Get out there and make the world a better place!!I'm not arguing that there were no floods or droughts or wars. I'm calling out intellectual dishonesty. I think Rob has raised a very valid concern. But its not necessarily cheap gas we need, its a cost competitive, reliable energy system that drives economic prosperity. Clearly we are not there yet if the “transition” to renewables is the goal. Unfortunately, energy is a lynch pin of the economy and if we fail to maintain a cost competitive, reliable energy system the consequences might be another severe economic downturn like the Great Depression. Depressions like the world experienced in the 1930s are not out of the realm of possibility. Should something like that, even remotely, occur, our natural resources will take a big hit. The US population is triple what it was in the 1930s and the mass immigration of the last few decades has clearly changed the demographic makeup of the country. While we on this forum might embrace a catch and release ethic, respect for fish and game laws and otherwise respect for the environment, I doubt that ethic is widespread in a large part of the U.S. population. Once a large percentage of the population has to struggle to survive, our precious natural resources will suffer.Nothing is more important to environmental preservation in America is a thriving economy. At the moment cheap gas is vital to a thriving economy.
The last thing we need is people poaching all our wildlife in order to survive and burning all our trees to stay warm..
We need cheap gas until EVs and the infrastructure are an actual solution.

You can never go wrong quoting Tom Waits - there, I have now posted in this thread, so it is sure to be locked.“We are buried beneath the weight of information, which is being confused with knowledge; quantity is being confused with abundance and wealth with happiness. We are monkeys with money and guns.” ― Tom Waits
