I can't think of anything worse for the economy than no economy at all. This thread started with rising gas prices and how it hurts our pocketbooks. No one disagrees with that premise. The difference of opinions lies in the facts that lead up to rising gas prices. Blaming on poor government policy and Climate austerity is being countered by those of us who have different opinions and feel the need to defend.

Nope. It was public. And I guess I should clarify, it was an independent study program, ie, I had no parent supervision. I met with a teacher once a week for an hour to assign and grade work.

He preferred the term "appliance healer". He had no use for Wizards or "witchcraft" as he put it. He only went all in for the real holy ghost power. Well that snakes, and a host of other activities that I as a child felt bordered on voodoo. He was a complicated man. He scared many children. I on the other hand studied him with fascination and wonder. I mean he was crazy to be sure but a majestic beast to behold

It’s actually a really interesting program. You’re required to do 40 hours of work a week. But that’s based off the average student. I did 60+ hours a week but it only probably took me 20ish hours. So I graduated in 3 years. I was pursuing snowboarding at the time, so this allowed me to snowboard 7 days a week.

For the right, motivated person, it’s an amazing program. For 98% of high school kids? Not so much.
