Well, yeah. That would be the efficient way... Pretty sure I have some rabbit and rubber legs buried somewhere in the hoarder bins.
You seem to have a pretty good program but it can be nice to have options.

Found this version here; plan to use it more as a caddis cripple/emerger/egglayer. Subbed grouse for knotted pheasant tail legs for a bit more durability.

Tied the same as a standard X-Caddis; since spruce moths are terrestrial, not aquatic, insects, the butt doesn’t represent a shuck, just a bit of sparkle to attract.
