Where you been?
You tie some nice flies.
Do you have a pseudonym??
I missed that along the line, that looks great. I'll be curious how the hot tail works out. After a lot of testing I found a nice bunch of hares ears works better than feathers or coq de leon. Really moves like a fish tail in the water.@TomButler just got some deer hair and tried out your muddled hares ear

I'm curious about the hot tail too. I put it in because I'm planning on fishing it this winter and usually hot spot things work best. I think it will fish quite nicely! I’d fish thatMy first attempt at a Bulkhead Deceiver-ish fly. I wouldn't say it was a failure, but I won't say it's good. I've been wanting to try tying these for awhile but was too intimidated and just kept putting it off. Somehow it feels too dense and not dense enough at the same time. I think my bundles of bucktail were thicker at the tail than the head and it doesn't feel like it has much tear drop taper. Need to dive back into Fleye Design
I have a lot of work to do, but excited to keep trying.
Would love any and all critiques.
EDIT: Once wet, it's not terrible. It lays down relatively fine. Room to grow!
