Well, they're supposed to be stiff. The only stiff ones I had were the shorter ones I tied in there but I wanted more length and 'body', but not too much
 
downsized for smallmouth. ~4.5". Found these little glow in the dark eyes from Spawnflyfish that I've never used. They were just the right size though. No rattle in this one...

hook - WFC Model 3 #12
thread - Uni 8/0 light olive
butt - yarn chartreuse
body - Sunburst olive (loop dubbed)
wing - Congo Hair Baitfish Grey
shoulder - pheasant rump dyed olive
head - aftershaft dyed olive

Last year I ran into some largemouth that were busting schools of small bluegill on the surface. Came up with this fly which worked well the second time I found this going on. Fairly weedless and float, but low in the water,

Hook: Daiichi X-15 1/0 or similar off set eye bass hook
tail/body: Congo hair
body/flotation: 2 MM foam
head: brusier blend or similar- yellow on bottom and olive on top
Throat: orange sharpie
eyes: 8 mm dolleyes
 
You folks are upping your games. Does this mean I'm gonna have to start listing every single material? Crap...
