Not a big pedal guy. I stopped spending money on effects years ago but I have to say I'm tempted to get a BOSS Dimension C Waza. Nails that Steve Stevens 90s compressed chorus sound. I've always loved the Flesh for Fantasy sound.

Yeah it doesn't sound like a strat, right? 25 Les Pauls was a good guess. But Corgan then was a strat guy and a master in the booth.

Yeah I was also really into SRV at that time and played 13s on that strat. Everything was stock and it handled them fine. And I’m not necessarily a “finesse” guitar player lol

Very familiar with Tones which I bought in 87. The deal with his more recent playing is his deftness at using various pedals and guitar efects . Yes he is well respected but to be accurate he is an upper echilon guitarist with gorgeous melodic playing…​
