I have absolutely no use for bread and butter or sweet pickles or relish in any way shape or form. In the grocery store aisle, I am always mystified as to who is buying all these sweet pickles so that they take up 90% of the pickle real estate.

A crisp green salad & vinaigrette is classic, and I have done it…but im feeling lazy (beer)…

I'm making red lentil dal again. After experimenting with grinding my own spices, I found this mix that is 90% as good as making everything from scratch, and so much easier. I add a sweet potato and some coconut cream, and leave out the tomato and soya leaves.
