Mentaiko (spicy cod roe) pasta. Mochiko chicken in the upper right corner. Yoshoku cuisine at Chez Kenzo Bar and Grill in Honolulu, near Ala Moana Mall. If you’re ever on Oahu, I cannot recommend the place highly enough for the culinarily curious. The only place I know where you can get a shot of Yamazaki 12 year old for $20. I don’t think you can find more bang for the buck in Hawaii than at Kenzo’s.

We went to a new restaurant last night in Beacon Hill…Musang. At first, when I saw the welcome bat behind the hostess, I was a bit worried. The food was outstanding…fusion Filipino…

Musang is great, and cool to see more Filipino food in the city. Che Bogz (Filipano food truck) down the block is having a soft opening starting today through Sunday Hours are WED - SAT: 11am - 7pm SUN: 11am - 4pm
