Up at the crack: fishing day breakfasts?

I have started making big batches of Bob's Red Mill steel cut oats. I buy the big bag of them from Costco. The cooked oats (made with just water and salt) live in a Cambro in the fridge and last us for 4 or 5 days of breakfasts. They are easy to reheat in the microwave and I add butter, craisins, brown sugar, nutmeg, vanilla, and oat milk to the hot oats. While I like bacon, eggs, and hash browns, oatmeal had become my go-to breakfast .

I just bought a big bag from Costco. A little salt in the cooking water, then a cut up fresh peach or nectarine, some real maple syrup and splash of 1/2&1/2…

5:00 am...coffee (good coffee) brewed, and all ready for me, from a timer.
Then a bagel. Bagels are magical. Put some butter on it, broil it for 4 minutes in the oven..then creme cheese spread. There are different bagels and different spreads.. This helps in regards to the coffee eating away at my stomach lining. Once I get on the boat, I start to eat the best fruit I can buy.
Never underestimate the power of a toasted bagel with creme cheese.

A turkey, chicken, or sometimes ham 2-eggamuffin with cheese, along with yogurt and fruit...
I see several like oatmeal. That's my typical daily breakfast, 2/3 cup, cooked in milk, with fruit, & yogurt mixed in, and sometimes an over-easy egg on top or a French Vanilla whey isolate shake poured over the top. But man, that stuff is moving through me ALL day! Not what I want when out fishing, especially in waders.
