You can buy 12 smart Tv's for the price of a spey rod....abd have enough left over to get a couple of burritos, and a 6 pack.
 
If you have internet service at your house, get a super box. 2000+ channels with almost every possible sporting event known to mankind, and about 13,000 movies on file.
I've have a couple ( 1 for each tv ) for about four to five years.
 
I have been very happy with Sony Bravia LED TVs, on my third or fourth one now. I upgrade to a bigger size when they get less expensive--currently on a 65" from Costco. You might think you don't want a big TV, but then you'll be watching your sports, or a movie, and be glad of it.

You save a lot by getting an LED TV instead of an "OLED" TV. OLED has deeper blacks, I think. I think this is the one I have, a few hundred dollars cheaper than when I bought it:


An aftermarket sound bar with subwoofer (or home sound system) improves the experience a lot!
