I’m not a guide and will also be fishing on this trip 😂.

I’ll even throw in a box of mostly jig leeches.

Let me know if anyone is interested.
Happy Holidays.
I’m interested. Always wanted to try that lake

I like this idea. There’s a lot of stress, but a lot of good in my life. After 30 years together, my wife and I had a dicy patch but we’re on the mend. Healthy grown kids who are a joy to be around. Job is challenging, but in a good way, and I work with good people. I landed 26 fish on the D last Sunday, and I’ve just had some guy invite me to fish Coldwater lake with him.

WOW, so many great positive successes and impactful inputs! I thank you as i am sure others do also.

Remember, we can reach out to support others as well we can reach out to ask for help from others. There are always times of need, we just need to open our eyes and hearts to recognize that.

Also remember, just like it takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown, an act of kindness as well as supportive and positive attitude will make our small world around us just a little bit better.

This will be our 10th Christmas since our sweet, tough-as-nails daughter had successful cancer treatment.

As a bonus, her experience has increased her resilience. Example: Not long after her thyroid removal surgery, she encountered another challenge. She said, "Dad, once your throat gets slit, nothing scares you." As I said, tough-as-nails.

An atom walks into a bar.
Bartender says, “Why the long face?”
The atom says, “I lost an electron.”
Bartender asks, “How can you be sure?”
Atom says, “Oh, I’m positive.”

Nine years into retirement and I was diagnosed with prostate cancer - that was a little more than two years ago. In October of this year, semi-annual screening, my radiation oncologist phoned me at home and said something along the lines of "your PSA is so low that unless you feel like coming to the clinic and paying your copay, there's no need for a consultation" - so we talked about our grandkids on the phone, no copay ;). No cancer! Two awesome grandkids; the eight year old boy beat me at three games of HORSE today. And my wife (53 years this past May) and I get to spend three months in Redondo Beach to be near the kids and their parents.

Reading @Shawn Seeger's posts about volunteering time reminds me that I do need to make this a priority when I get back home.

Best wishes all.

@RCF…I love it!

You are going to find whatever you look for.

Thank you!

I look towards a happier, satisfying and more supportive environment. The more each of us do will only bring us closer to each other and everyone else

I will give more to help others. Not a New Year's resolution but rather a commitment for life going forward.

We each can only control what we have ownership of. I will do my share, hopefully.

Some like my GIL discovered this early on: with over 20,00p hours of volunteering at Children's hospital or later in life when we look back over our lives and missing chances we missed and overlooked.

It is not an epinanty but rather recognizing we could do better for our limited time on earth.

Edited to add: i will tone it down regarding my views. I have said enough to communicate my POV. I also want to thank those for not bringing in politics into the discussions. So easy to do...
