The good boat deal thread

Beauty little skiff! Looks like Devlin built this one himself. WN numbers match up to the one in his write-up. Another time/place and I'd be on this. :)

@Kfish didn't you build one?

That does seem like a good deal. Says “pending” now.

It’s funny, on the Devlin site, I think they think “burdensome” means something different than it actually means. Unless it’s just brutally honest marketing for a wooden boat. They open with: “The Candlefish 16 is a burdensome fishing skiff.”

I think he’s just waxing poetic in a sailor’s style :)

Sam Devlin is a character. If/when you ever meet him you’ll understand. He’s a great guy.

Maybe overpriced, but I don’t come across many 13’ prams in that condition for sale.
Maybe it is for a used boat but it’s all there. Would a brand new boat, oars, trailer for $4grand be overpriced?
I keep looking for the right boat and pretty much everything is overpriced or needs too much attention so I pass

took another look and magnified the pic, didn't realize it was a Watershed, so take back the over priced comment...really well made boats made in Sublimity OR until they closed.
