It was pretty mild today, and has all but melted off. Sounds like Wed should be more impressive.

Winter snow advisory just issued for tonight for western WA. "Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible."

The snow accumulation and the forecast around my place continue to be just a tease. It's driving my kids crazy.

I remember fishing in the snow. Usually it didn't work out ... except for The Metolius. Back in the day when they first started leaving the river open all year around we could do quite well in the snow, even with dry flies. I don't think the river temp ever changed all year -- very cold no matter the month -- so the bugs and fish paid the cold conditions no mind. But that was long, long ago.

A friend of mine lives in Battle Creek, Michigan. Said his dog, Bucky, almost froze off his man bits and undercarriage going potty. LOL No snow here, yet. I will be looking out the window at about 10pm.
