And whoever was wearing that fedora . . .Inhahaled the entire leader!
Yeah I asked Gemini why the random hat. It basically said "whoops, AI used the flying hat to show motion, but probably should have used the fisherman's hat."And whoever was wearing that fedora . . .
Kinda looks like the bottom 1/3 of the picture is a Duwamish special
Elliot Bay opens 8/15 and the river opens 8/20. I plan to be out there a lot.Speaking of Duwamish, we should try and organize a flotilla, fun times running into Skyriver and Matt B for the concrete plant action a couple years ago! they have been beautifying the whole area and it'll be interesting to update the perspectives
I definitely plan on hitting the Duw.
Not sure how many will be in MA13 on 8/2 & 8/3, but I'll be at a friend's house in Grapeview so I'm gonna give it a shot out of the boat both mornings. One of the "kids" (he's 27) is bringing his boat as well. See if we can slime both boats!
Yeah, I have no intention of running all the way down to the Nisqually. That sounds painful. I plan on just fishing in the morning so that probably means just some SRC in Case inlet on the flood. I've reached out to a local source there (I think you know himDepending on the weather, especially the wind it might be easier to trailer over to the canal (MA 12) versus running to the Nisqually area from Grapeview. There should be some fish at the hatchery by then. There are probably some there now and the forecast is for 2.4 million for the canal. Other then the Nisqually, I can’t think of any other systems in MA 13 that get pinks. The Nisqually has a forecast of 1.5 million this year. Good luck and have fun.

Hit me up if you need a passenger to split gas with and provide lunchThey have made it south already. Lots of fish marked and jumping on the surface. This one was on the bottom though.View attachment 161449
