Server / forum slowdown issues

Super slow the last couple hours...
 
There is a nation-wide outage between hand shakes between AT&T and Verizon today. Related? Dunno.

Blame it on hacking by Russia and China. Only the beginning...
 
Seems super sluggish today both at home and work.
Just an FYI. I started getting 503 error messages when clicking on various threads etc. That started last night and has happened multiple times.

I'm seeing intermittent issues as well. Not saying that this is the cause of the recent slow downs, but the carousels for the articles and image gallery take up time and slow the site down. The recent slowdown is most likely an issue with the CDN

Photos are slow to download on my iPhone today. This happens to me from time to time.

FWIW, I'm on this site throughout the day (Central Europe Time), and have not noticed any sluggishness.

Man this place is slow to load. May be my tech skills but it only occurs here. After getting used to pushing a button and having something happen I find my self doing something else and trying again later. Usually with the same result.
 
Hasn't been bad for me at all this week. Been keeping track. But I'm going to contact our server provider tomorrow to inquire. If it were server related though, it'd be a lot more consistent and with everyone. We'll figure it out though.

It's been off and on really slow for me the last couple days. Both on mobile and desktop and different internet connections.
 
Why can't they just speed it up!? You'd think they would listen to the DEMANDS of the customers to speed it up!! Can't be that hard!!! Unless it's the sharks. Then nothing you can do. Nothing you can do if it's the sharks!!!
 
@Josh, @Evan B - S L O W, very slow. I was in BC with crappy cell service and was trying to post a few pictures. I assumed it was crappy cell service. Very slow using fiber optic Wifi.
 
When you all are experiencing the slowness, when is it happening? Initially loading the main page? Opening a thread? Replying to a thread? All of the above?

All of the above and the slowness is very random. Sometimes it is super fast, but other times very slow. When I quoted your message, it took a good amount of time before it showed up so I could reply.
Notifications are super sluggish to appear.
It’s random on multiple devices and networks.
