Server / forum slowdown issues

I obviously have severely limited tech skills so I ask. Why is this site by far the slowest to load of anything I do on the computer? It just started in the last day or two.
 
Doesn't seem any different for me. Anyone else experiencing the issue?
 
Ok I lied. As I posted that, it was very slow to post. If it persists, I'll check with our server provider to see what's going on.
 
I have not experienced this.

But perhaps I will with this post....
 
It can be slow here at times
 
Speed is normal and fast here in Oly. The slow sites are those owned by the buyers of WFF.
 
Speed/lag times vary quite a bit intermittently...
 
As mentioned, super fast at times and fairly slow at other times. Very much that way today.

Easy for you to say. I didn't know I had any of those. I just push the buttons and expect them to do the same thing they did yesterday.

Here’s a link on how to do it on various browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and Safari. You could also YouTube it. If I lived closer I’d happily help ya out anytime 👍

Not saying anything about your age… in college I used to volunteer at a retirement village as tech support. I became really good at writing out steps for folks to reference. And as a perk got to listen to many stories, pet many dogs and the facility would give me a free lunch or dinner. Wins all around.
 
I have not noticed latency issues lately. A good thing.

I am the techie for my family and MIL. Always fun to troubleshoot issues. Had to help my MIL today over the phone. Got lucky too.. whew... She is in her 80's and right mouse click is foreign to her...
 
Slow this morning in Bend since 0415
 
I wouldn't be surprised if some of the problem is weather related. After all, the internet runs on wires...
 
Mine is slow some of the time, whereas I'm slow all of the time . . .
 
Yeah the issue appears to be very intermittent. I'll be reaching out to our server provider soon if it keeps going.
 
I've noticed site being slow to load and respond for a while as well. Both at home and away on my phone. The last couple days it's been much more noticeable. What really seems to choke it is selecting notifications. I'll get these blue lights running left to right under the banner.
