FYI… this tree in the yard has three types of leaves, some flowers with attracts several species of bees and wasps, and some seeds. It really is a pita that does its giving starting in May and doesn’t end until October. Oh…and it’s a gutter and downspout clogger if not proactive.
Yeah “three types of leaves” has me stumped.
Cottonwoods can have different leaf shapes, but not usually on the same plant, more that the young ones do some weird stuff.
Other than that kinda sounds like my neighbor’s river birches.
