Life of the Party
I'm ok with the current flow situation. A big rain will push most fish up into closed waters for some near seattle systems.

Hopefully there are a bunch more in the estuary and the Sound just waiting to push up and happily find some flies to chomp.I'm ok with the current flow situation. A big rain will push most fish up into closed waters for some near seattle systems.
Ya. I hope we get a few more good pushes and some emergency openings. That said, Coho seem reasonably to very snappy with the current flows.Hopefully there are a bunch more in the estuary and the Sound just waiting to push up and happily find some flies to chomp.

Yuppp. Been bone dry and warm since July and somebody flipped the switch last week. The snow in the hills and the rutting season have brought the blacktails down in large than usual numbers; some nice looking bucks wandering around with ' bedroom' eyes. It also brought a large kitty (mother cougar and cubs) into our neighborhood. I saw her just outside my fence line 2 days ago... such a beautiful animal. Im sure it's no coincidence that there's a small doe with it's throat ripped out lying on my neighbors property. We're taking our dog out on a leash to do his business until she and her brood move along.Have had torrential downpours the last few days; even a reported tornado touchdown in a nearby town. And, the mountains are turnin’ white with snow. What’s not to love about this time of the year.
Damn! November has arrived.Looks like a pretty dry stretch of weather starting this coming Friday.
