I've been wondering about fishing the mouth of a creek in the salt.. at what point are you still within the regs if said creek is closed to fishing?Well things got interesting Fri. Caught the evening high rise at deep area 13. Not much happening so I wandered up to a small creek mouth. Water was calm. Got a little nip on a squimp. Next cast, bam a solid hookup. A little heft in this one. A nice resi-silver. Bigger than expected for this time of year, 18 inches. Caught 3 others in succession. None of them were clipped. Damn, so much for the bbq. Three hours fishing, 20 minutes of action.
Don't forget the Flex Seal for insurance! That might take a roll or two of Gorilla tape to render seaworthy...

Nasty over in the Columbia Basin today; blowing tumbleweeds are one thing but dust in wind from all the freshly plowed and disced fields can make driving a bit of chore.
That hit us hard in Sumner. Even had hailstones in a few spots. Tore up a lot of smaller vegetation and limbs too.
Where is it that folks are hanging padlocks off the fencing? I don't think that's Pont Neuf. ;-) I see that Snoqualmie Pass is closed....Windy SOB out there today.
