PNW Fly Fishing Semi-Official Swap, Shop, Fish & Eat - May 17, 2025

Sounds like there is no need for my big stove. I'll bring a tabletop single burner instead. I would like to know whether we will have open wood fires in the evenings (I hope we will, I dig fire and cooking with wood fires).

Maybe we only need the group campsite, and not the shelter near the boat launch? That could save some money. I'm keeping my Site 48 on the water (about halfway between the group site and the boat ramp area) and people can use Site 48 to launch small craft if the group site doesn't have decent water access.
Yep I canceled that already.

As for fire pits, I'm sure that info is on the website. I can check tomorrow when I'm back at my computer since I loathe doing too much on my phone.

Looks from the air like there's a big firepit in the southeast of the site and the website says fires are allowed depending on county burn bans.

I am still up for camping and some face time with some of YOU PEOPLE. I still had not signed up for the food since a couple things were up in the air for me, and I think you had indicated we could sign up super late, like up to a week before or something. The group campout still sounds fun and I still want to make it. Maybe I'll even take Friday off like Randy, that's a good call if I can swing it. I was looking at it like if I ended up not making it for a night or even both nights, you can put the money toward the site, or buy yourself something nice. Like a fraction of a Scotty mount.

I'll be there Friday afternoon/evening through Sunday morning. I hope to see a bunch of "you people" there!

Yeah that was the plan, but we are getting to a couple weeks out and we're not even half way to our minimum, so wanted to shift the plan so we can come up with another solution.

I was planning on heading up Saturday but with Melissa finishing her degree and me in school unfortunately time is a premium... so an afternoon\evening was a stretch. I am still planning on going up if there is anything going on.

@Jerry Daschofsky has a pizza oven that can be brought to the campground. Mine isn't so portable, being brick and all. BUT.... if I made a few dough balls and brought some ingredients, would folks be into me making a pizza or three? I know we're likely to have way more food than is necessary, but some pizzas could be fun.

I wish I could but bread = poison for me :(
