Thank you! That oven... so sweet! I've worked with brick ovens and the like a bunch in restaurants (past life), but for a home oven, that is TOP NOTCH!

Looks delicious!Or mine! I love making pizza. I started out of “necessity” two decades ago being an east coast pizza guy in the former “good pizza desert” known as the American west. Not the case anymore. You can find decent pizza all over now. As a pizza snob, I can think of 4 solid spots on Bainbridge Island alone. The good stuff is generally not cheap though. I still make it every Friday for traditions sake, even with so many options available.

This is one of my favorites. Not my invention but I sure love it
Cheesus H Christ
Heavy cream
Mozz
Tallegio
Bake it
Parm
Black pepper
And honey
Maybe a little chili flake
It’s basically a cacio e pepe. It’s unreal.

I wish I had the skill set to build something like that on my patio. Dumb question but relevant to me since I live in a wooded lot with lots of critters around; is there a way to keep mice/squirrels out of you oven when not in use ?

I too am impressed with Papa Murphy's. Good crust, good tasting sauce, proportions and balance of flavors are good also. Not like Dominos where they pile 'it' (whatever that is) on a tasteless sauce and 5 minutes later it is 'done'.Being a west coast WA native, I'm not a pizza snob. I like a combo with lotsa' stuff on it. Pepperoni, salami, sausage, onion, mushrooms, olives, green pepper, extra cheese. All on a thin crust; that way I have room to eat an extra slice. Farrelli's seems to be the best locally, and the large size is $27 or so. On the convenience front I'm impressed with Papa Murphy's thin crust combo, and it's only $18. If only pizza were a health food I would have it 2 or 3 times a week!
No disrespect, but where did you buy such expensive pizza ? I can think of only one place like that and its a mob run cash only joint in Chicago.I am sure some of you have ordered Pizza lately well today was my first in years since the Covid I just don't eat out. I told my son I would buy Pizza for lunch today plus get to see my Grandson, Sh@t 2 Pizzas was over $60 bucks with an order of Pasta noodles with chicken a $100 with tip I thought it was going to be $50 the most I had to did in my extra cash bag. The money i spent for Pizza today I could eat real good for two weeks I spent $64 at Fred Meyers ate for two weeks
Yes, it was ate with vigor. The younger pickier one didn't eat the ham but that's because she needs things cut up bite sized. The crust was nice and crisp, sauce had good flavor, good proportions... I got no complaints.@FontinalisFin so did the girls like it?
For a value pizza what did you think of taste and crust?
It is not an artisan pizza and does not represent itself that way either...
