Non-fishing related
Looks edited in a weird way to me. Skeptical.
Not saying I disagree with the overall sentiment, however.

Fly fishing?

my fave part of it is John just staring at Chuck.."that right, that's my gal and that's what she does..just remember how much I'm paying you for this"...lol

Why are they letting that shrill harpy women interfere with the musicians?

Fact: nobody would even know who the hell Yoko is if it weren't for John.

Almost certainly true, but here's the way I look at it. John felt she was his true love and could do no wrong; are we not sometimes also willing to overlook the deficiencies of our loves? You and I may not have handled it the same way, but my respect for John Lennon allows me to give it a past. Were John not to have met Yoko, who knows how he may have progressed? He may have Syd Barrett'ed out in a year or two; he was well on the way immediately following Sgt Pepper/Magical Mystery Tour.

But if you watch the recent Beatles documentary, you can see how professional he really was, and I think Yoko had something to do with getting his head back into the game. That's just me.

And at the time, Yoko was making a name for herself as an artist on her own before she met John. Funny you mention Syd, because John actually met Yoko at one of the early Syd-era Floyd shows.

I love this video. I love how the sound guy eventually shuts her mic off too.

Another great Chuck Berry moment is in "Hail Hail Rock n Roll". Chuck Berry comes completely uncorked on Keith Richards for both messing with the guitar amp, and for slightly screwing up the opening lick for "Nadine" and Keith just sits there and takes it.

I'm convinced those close up shots of Chuck Berry's face when Yoko starts in on the mic are cut in from a different part of the film. The percussion in the background of those tight shots doesn't match the track. It's out of sync. To me, that looks like Guitar Face, like from a solo, where he was probably trying to tune out whatever Yoko was doing and lock in with the band.
