Official 2026 MLB Discussion Thread

What is not to root for in Jose R, undersized, initially undervalued, has become one of the best third basemen in baseball, likely punching a ticket to the Hall. Plus, that strut (like George Jefferson, as Terry Francona pointed out) - gotta love him.

Will be rooting for aa Cleveland vs Milwaukee WS, with Cleveland the champs ...
 
Tough day yesterday for the city of Angels. Dodgers down 2 games and I think one of their other sports all teams took a loss last night. Wouldn't count either of them out though.
 
Not shedding any tears about the high dollar Dodgers being down 3 zip. Though it will give voice to those who say no salary cap is necessary let's save the integrity of the game and not allow championships to be purchased by massive ego multi billionaires.

And it looks like he just loves playing baseball. Love the guys that still genuinely smile a lot.

I'm with you there on the WS , but don't care who wins , just as long as the Brewers unseat the Dodgers ,and it sure looks like it , could wrap up the National League tonight . I think it was just great Roberts leaving his starter in there one inning too long , Snell was close to 100 pitches at that point .
